Daniel T. Greanya, BA (Honours), MA
Daniel T. Greanya has been a resident of the Durham Region since 2007, and was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto in political science and history, where he graduated with Distinction. He received his Paralegal Diploma from Durham College and Law Clerk Diploma from Fleming College, and has a Master of Arts in History from the University of Waterloo. Daniel is deeply committed to public service, and enjoys assisting clients with their legal matters. His approach to legal matters is to seek a solution for the client. While aggressive litigation is sometimes necessary, negotiation and mediation are also important tools.
The rate for paralegal services varies based on the amount and complexity of work involved, and the financial means of the client. At Greanya Legal Services, the usual hourly rate is $125.00 per hour, however rates vary depending on the matter. GLS will discount our hourly rate by up to 50% in some circumstances, such as financial need or if a matter is under five thousand dollars ($5000.00). Contingency fee arrangements, flat fees, or a mixture of contingency arrangements and a flat fee may be agreed to depending on the matter and personal circumstances. Please be advised that contingency fees are available on employment law, WSIB, and Human Rights matters only. GLS will also provide volume discounts for clients with multiple matters. Volume discounts are negotiated on a case by case basis. GLS reserves the right to vary our fees on a case by case basis.
Daniel T. Greanya is a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits. Greanya Legal Services offers the service of a Commissioner to non-clients for a per document fee of $25.00 for the first document, and $10 for each subsequent document.
